Atlee – Varun Dhawan collab!

Director A. Kaaleeswaran’s upcoming Hindi film, tentatively titled “VD 18”, portrays Varun Dhawan in the lead role. The film also features Keerthy Suresh as the female lead, along with a stellar ensemble cast including Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff, Rajpal Yadav, Manikandan, P.S. Avinash, and other prominent actors. The cinematography is being handled by Kiran Kaushik, while the music is scored by S. Thaman.

This action-packed entertainer is a joint production by Murath Kedani, Jyothi Deshpande, and Priya Atlee(for Jio Studios, Cine 1 Studios, and A for Apple respectively). The film’s launch was celebrated with a grand ritual ceremony in Mumbai, and the shooting is currently in full swing.
The makers have announced that the film’s title will be revealed soon.

Atlee, known for his works in Raja Rani, Theri, Mersal, Bigil, and Jawan, has now ventured into production to support and showcase the talents of his assistant directors through his production house, A for Apple. His previous productions, ‘Sangili Bungili Kathava Thora’ and ‘Andhagaaram’, received critical acclaim and were commercially successful.

Having already achieved tremendous success in the Tamil film industry, Atlee is now set to make his mark in Bollywood as a successful producer. His collaboration with Shahrukh Khan in Jawan was a testament to his unparalleled filmmaking skills.
