Madharaasi is an action-packed film that also pulls at your heartstrings. A terrorist group plans to spread gun culture across Tamil Nadu. To stop them, the National Investigation Agency, led by Biju Menon, ropes in Sivakarthikeyan – a heartbroken man ready to end his life after his girlfriend leaves him. After the recent failure of Sikandar starring Salman Khan and directed by A.R. Murugadoss, many wondered if he would make a comeback. Thanks to Sivakarthikeyan’s contribution, Murugadoss has proven once again that he is a skilled director. His take on gun culture as a social issue adds depth without slowing the pace.
