“Ace” is a 2025 Tamil action comedy directed and produced by Arumugakumar under 7Cs Entertainment. The film features a powerful cast with Vijay Sethupathi and Rukmini in prominent roles. Alongside them, Yogi Babu, Babloo Prithviraj play supporting roles.
Set in Malaysia, the story revolves around Bolt Kannan(played by Vijay Sethupathi) who falls in love with Rukmini(played by Rukmini Vasanth) and how he takes part in various illegal activities for helping her. Will he succeed without getting caught is the rest of the story.
Though the movie has some logical mistakes, the overall film is entertaining and keeps the audience hooked up from the start of the movie. The musical score by Justin Prabhakaran mesmerises the crowd, the cinematography by Karan B Rawat captivates the audience and the editing handled by Fenny Oliver keeps the audience engaged. Vijay Sethupathi’s acting was natural, Yogi Babu’s sarcastic dialogue delivery was an advantage to the success of the movie. Rukmini Vasanth’s acting was good. Babloo Prithviraj and Divya Pillai have done justice to their character. The film directed by Arumugakumar keeps the audience hooked up. Director Arumugakumar has put his efforts to ensure the audience has fun-filled entertainment and are not disappointed.
