“DNA” is a 2025 action thriller directed by Nelson Venkatesan and produced by Jayanthi Ambethkumar under their banner Olympia movies . The film features Atharvaa, Nimisha Sajayan in prominent roles. Balaji Sakthivel, Ramesh Thilak, Viji Chandrasekhar, Bose Venkat, Chetan, Subramania Siva play supportive roles.
The film revolves around Anand, portrayed by Atharvaa, who marries Divya, portrayed by Nimisha Sajayan. Things get spiced up when Divya gives birth and when she receives the baby, she claims it’s not her baby. Will the couple ever find their baby is the rest of the story.
A good crime thriller script which lacks a crispy screenplay. There are a lot of logical mistakes and flaws in the movie. The first 10 minutes will irritate audiences and the later part of the first half has nothing big. The second half takes the audience into the story. Climax has sentiment values and has an emotional touch which would make the audience talk about the movie. Nimasha Sajayan’s performance was wonderful. Nothing much to say about Atharvaa’s acting. Ramesh Thilak, Balaji Sakthivel, Subramania Siva did their part well. An old woman who plays the role of a child kidnapper steals the show. The musical score by Ghibran was soothing, the cinematography by Parthiban was enchanting and the editing part handled by Sabu Joseph was good.
