His body language, crisp dialogue delivery, and action sequences establish him as a convincing action hero. Even during romantic scenes, his character maintains focus and purpose, adding depth to his portrayal.
The supporting cast, including Abhirami as a school principal, Dileepan as a sub-inspector, Ritwika, Reiya Hari, Aadukalam Naren and Arjai, are all well-cast and lend strong support to the narrative. Each character, though possibly limited in screen time, makes a lasting impression thanks to tight scripting and meaningful integration into the plot.
Music Director D. Imman surprises by steering away from his signature style to this crime-suspense thriller genre. His restrained and genre-appropriate background score enhances the tension without overpowering scenes. Cinematographer Karthik Ashokan captures night scenes with precision, emphasizing character emotion over graphic violence. Despite being a psychological thriller, the film avoids excessive brutality, instead leaning on the atmospheric tone and character-driven drama.
Editor Sreekanth N.B. crafts the film’s pace expertly. Even after the killer is identified in a key scene with Abhirami, the suspense persists, thanks to smartly cut sequences and continual misdirection.
Writer-director Lokesh Ajiles constructs a narrative that poses compelling questions in the first half — who are the victims and why were they targeted? — and sustains engagement in the second half by teasing out the identity and motives of the killer. Just when the audience thinks they have the answer, he throws in another twist, keeping the suspense taut until the very end.
