The Tamil film ‘Indra’, starring Vasanth Ravi, Mehreen Pirzada, Tollywood actor Sunil, Anika Surendran, Rajkumar, and Malayalam actor Sumesh Moor, has been directed by debutant Sabarish Nanda. The movie has been produced by Jaffer Sadiq and Irfan Malik.
At its special media premiere, the film received appreciation from critics and journalists, with notable praise directed towards cinematographer Prabhu Raghav and actor Sumesh Moor, who appears opposite Anika Surendran.
Released worldwide on August 22, 2025, the film had a slow start on its opening day with only double-digit occupancy during the morning and matinee shows. However, due to positive word of mouth, evening and night shows saw improved audience turnout, crossing into three-digit attendance.
