‘Veera Dheera Sooran – Part 2’ Promotional Event in Bengaluru

The promotional event for Veera Dheera Sooran – Part 2, starring Chiyaan Vikram, took place in Bengaluru ahead of its worldwide release on March 27. Directed by S.U. Arun Kumar and produced by Riya Shibu under HR Pictures, the film features an ensemble cast, including S.J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Dushara Vijayan.

To create buzz for the film, the team has been touring multiple cities, including Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Thiruvananthapuram, Madurai, Trichy, and Coimbatore. After successful promotions in Chennai and Hyderabad, the Bengaluru event was held at Mantri Square Mall, where Vikram interacted with fans and the media.

Addressing the crowd, Vikram expressed his gratitude, “Hi, Bengaluru! First, I’d like to thank S.S. Cafe for releasing Veera Dheera Sooran here. Director S.U. Arun Kumar, Dushara Vijayan, S.J. Suryah, Suraj and the entire team have sent their love through me. Our director is currently busy with the final stages of post-production.”

Vikram described Veera Dheera Sooran as a special film, stating that he wanted to combine mass appeal with emotional depth, similar to his previous films like Dhool, Saamy and Pithamagan.

“I was waiting for a story that could blend commercial elements with raw emotions and this film is exactly that. If you’ve seen Sethupathi and Chithha, you know how Arun Kumar excels in emotional storytelling while also handling commercial cinema brilliantly. Veera Dheera Sooran is raw, rustic and has a mass appeal, but it also feels real and different.”

Talking about the film’s casting, he said, “We needed strong performers to bring this story to life, which is why we cast S.J. Suryah, Dushara Vijayan and Suraj. Prithvi plays the antagonist, and every actor has delivered an emotionally powerful performance.”

About film breaking cinematic norms, Vikram hinted, “This movie does not follow traditional formulas. The opening sequence, the interval block—everything will be unique. We have experimented, and I hope the audience supports this fresh attempt. The performances, fight sequences and songs will offer something new.”

When asked about the title, Vikram revealed that the team initially considered naming the film Kaali. However, since Vijay Antony had recently released a film with the same name, they opted for Veera Dheera Sooran instead.

The event saw thousands of enthusiastic fans gathering to interact with Vikram. He even entertained the crowd by singing the song Kalloorum Kaathu Emmele from the film and dancing on stage. The event ended with Vikram thanking the media and fans for their unwavering support.

With the film’s release just days away, the buzz surrounding Veera Dheera Sooran – Part 2 is at an all-time high. Fans eagerly await to see what Chiyaan Vikram and his team have in store for them.
