One when he slips down and the other to raise him up – Star Review

Star is a 2024 film directed by Pyaar Prema Kaadhal fame Ilan and produced by Prasath under Rise East Entertainment and Srinidhi Saagar under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra features Kavin, Lal, Adithi Bogankar, Preethy Mukundhan, Geetha Kailasam, Maran, Kaadhal Sukumar, Niveditha Rajappan, Deeps and Pandian.

Kavin portrays as the son of Lal. Since childhood, Kavin always wanted to succeed something hugein the Film industry and Lal always wanted to fulfill his son’s dream. More than her son’s dream, Geetha Kailasam, his mother always wanted him to study well, go to a good job, earn a decent salary and lead a good life. On his way to achieving his dream, Kavin falls in love. Chasing his dream, he goes to one of Mumbai’s biggest acting trainer. His life takes a turn where he gets a chance to act. After this incident, what happens to Kavin is the rest of the story.

Kavin, portraying Kalai has acted well though a few scenes looked artificial. Though the climax kept the audiencces engaged, the twist could have been avoided. Both the heroines have acted well. One when he slips down and the other to raise him up. Lal as usual, has done justice to his character. Both Lal and Geetha Kailasam’s acting was an advantage to the film.
