Suriya’s Upcoming Film ‘Retro’ Teaser Out: A Visual Treat That Has Fans Buzzing

The much-awaited title and teaser of Suriya’s 44th film, now officially named Retro, have finally been unveiled. Directed by the acclaimed Karthik Subbaraj, Retro promises to be a captivating love-action entertainer with an ensemble cast and high production values.

Joining Suriya in this venture are stars Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George, Karunakaran and Nasser, among others. The film’s visuals are crafted by cinematographer Shreyas Krishna, while the music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, known for his eclectic soundtracks. Art direction is handled by Jackie and Maya Pandi, with Shafiq Muhammad Ali on editing duties.

Produced jointly by Jyothika and Suriya under 2D Entertainment, alongside Stone Bench Productions, Retro is co-produced by Rajasekhar Karpoor Sundarapandyan and Karthikeyan Santhanam. The shooting spanned diverse locations like Andaman, Ooty, Kerala, and Chennai, adding a visually rich canvas to the film.

The teaser reveals Suriya in a unique avatar, sparking immense excitement among fans. With intriguing scenes and an edgy tone, the teaser hints at a mix of romance, action, and drama, characteristic of Karthik Subbaraj’s storytelling.
