South Indian Artistes Association Celebrates Pongal with Warm Gestures

In a heartwarming celebration of Pongal, the South Indian Artistes Association (Nadigar Sangam) distributed special prizes to its members this morning. The event, held at the Nadigar Sangam premises on Habibullah Road, T. Nagar, was presided over by Association President Mr. Nassar and General Secretary Mr. Vishal.

The Pongal prize, consisting of a traditional dhoti and saree, was presented to all members of the Association as a gesture of goodwill and cultural pride. Following the distribution, the Association leaders organized a food distribution program, extending their hospitality to the Association members and the general public.

Mr. Nassar and Mr. Vishal along with veteran actress Latha, actors Sriman and Hemachandran also took the opportunity to inspect the construction progress of the newly built Nadigar Sangam building. They expressed satisfaction with the development and lauded the efforts of all those involved in bringing the project to fruition.

In a heartfelt address, they extended their wishes for a joyous Thai Thirunal and Pongal to all members of the Association, celebrating the spirit of unity and tradition that the festival embodies.

The event highlighted the commitment of the South Indian Artistes Association to not only preserve cultural values but also foster a sense of community among its members.
