First Look Poster and Single Track of “YOLO” Unveiled at Gateway 2025 Event
The first look poster and a single track from the upcoming romantic comedy YOLO have been officially released. Produced by Mahesh Selvaraj under the banner of MR Motion Pictures, the film is directed by S. Sam and features debutant Dev in the lead role. Blending elements of fantasy with romance and comedy, YOLO promises to be an engaging commercial entertainer.
The unveiling took place at the prestigious Gateway 2025 college festival at Anna University, where the film’s team participated in the grand event. Before a massive crowd of students, the first look poster and the film’s first single, “I’m from Ulundurpet”, were launched. The song, with its youthful and energetic vibe, received an enthusiastic response from the audience.
Designed to appeal to the Gen Z audience, the film’s first look poster and single track portray romance in a visually captivating way. Both have been well received by film enthusiasts and social media users alike.
The film revolves around a fantasy-driven narrative exploring how an unexpected incident changes a person’s life. It is crafted as a lighthearted romantic comedy that will put a smile on viewers’ faces while reflecting the lives of today’s younger generation.
Director S. Sam, who previously worked as an associate director with filmmakers Ameer and Samuthirakani, has helmed YOLO. The film features Dev and Devika as the lead pair, with supporting performances from Padava Gopi, Praveen, Swathi Nair, Akash Prem, Nithi Pradeep, Divakar, Yuvaraj, VJ Nikki, Deepika, Deepsan, Subbu, Pooja Fiya Vignesh, Suba Kannan and Kalaikumar.
Music composer Sakishna Xavier has composed six songs for the film. Among them, a melodious track has been sung by renowned music director G.V. Prakash Kumar along with singer Priyanka, which is expected to captivate audiences.
The film has been entirely shot in and around Chennai, with its production completed in a single schedule. The final stages of post-production are currently underway, and updates regarding the teaser and trailer will be announced soon.
The movie has a strong technical team with Sural Nallusamy as the Cinematographer, Sakishna Xavier as the Music Director and A.L.Ramesh as the Editor. Lyrics have been penned by Muthamil, Super Subbu, Satheeskant, Sakishna Xavier and Mahesh Selvaraj. The story has been been by Rams Murugan while Screenplay has been written by S. Sam, Rams Murugan, Panbu Selvan, Mahesh Selvaraj. The movie has been directed by S.Sam and produced by Mahesh Selvaraj through his MR Motion Pictures.
With its fresh take on love, fantasy elements, and a vibrant musical score, YOLO is set to be an exciting addition to Tamil cinema’s romantic comedy genre.
