The team of Angikaaram, which has received an encouraging response from audiences and critics during its opening week, celebrated the film's success with a thanksgiving meet. The event brought together the cast, technicians and producers, who expressed their gratitude to the media and moviegoers for supporting the sports drama while sharing their experiences from the making of the film.

Actor Anthony praised the film's impactful dialogues and its realistic portrayal of the struggles faced by athletes from rural backgrounds. He described Angikaaram as an inspiring film that every sportsperson should watch. Actress Isabella said the film marked an important milestone in her career and thanked director Thenpathiyan and the producers for believing in her. Actress Vasundhara highlighted that the film stays true to its real-life inspiration without cinematic exaggeration and appreciated the commitment shown by lead actor KJR.

Music composer Ghibran thanked journalists for their positive reviews and said meaningful films like Angikaaram deserve continued audience support beyond the opening weekend. Action choreographer Peter Hein lauded KJR's dedication, revealing that the newcomer underwent significant physical preparation to convincingly portray an athlete. He also appreciated the team's efforts in presenting the realities of sportsmen with authenticity.

Cinematographer A. Viswanath credited director Thenpathiyan's visual clarity and Peter Hein's guidance for elevating the film's sports sequences, while editor Dineshkumar noted that the team's focus was to retain realism throughout the film without resorting to commercial exaggeration.

Director Thenpathiyan recalled that the script had initially been developed for another established actor before eventually being revived with KJR in the lead. He said the entire team worked tirelessly to ensure the film delivered an honest and emotionally engaging experience. Producers Arul Murugan and Ajith Bhaskar also spoke about the extensive research and years of effort invested in bringing the project to the screen.

Actor-producer KJR thanked audiences, journalists, YouTube channels and digital media for supporting the film. While admitting that Angikaaram is still growing at the box office, he expressed confidence that positive word-of-mouth would help the film reach a wider audience. He also reaffirmed his ambition of becoming one of Tamil cinema's leading actors in the coming years and credited the entire technical crew for standing by the project.

Produced by Swasthik Visions and directed by Thenpathiyan, a former associate of director Pa. Ranjith, Angikaaram is inspired by true events and follows the journey of an athlete fighting for recognition while pursuing justice through legal means. The makers have appealed to audiences to continue supporting the film in theatres during its second week.
