'Nagabandham' Team Promotes Grand Pan-India Mythological Adventure at Chennai Press Meet

The makers of the upcoming pan-India fantasy adventure 'Nagabandham' hosted a grand press meet in Chennai ahead of the film's worldwide theatrical release on July 3. Directed by Abhishek Nama, the film stars newcomer Virat Karna in the lead, alongside Nabha Natesh, Aishwarya Menon, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaprakash, John Kokken, John Vijay, Saranya and several prominent actors.
Veteran producer Kalaipuli S. Thanu, who attended the event as a special guest, praised the film's spectacular visuals and production quality. He noted that films revolving around serpent mythology have always fascinated audiences and expressed confidence that Nagabandham would continue that tradition with a grand cinematic experience.
Producer A.M. Rathnam highlighted that while digital platforms dominate entertainment today, only a few films truly deserve to be experienced on the big screen. He described Nagabandham as one such visually immersive film and said its intriguing title itself evokes mystery and curiosity.
Actor Ajay Rathnam appreciated director Abhishek Nama's journey from distributor to producer and filmmaker, stating that his years of industry experience are reflected in the scale and execution of the project. He also praised lead actor Virat Karna's dedication and commitment to the demanding role.
Actor John Kokken described Nagabandham as a large-scale mythological action spectacle designed for theatrical viewing. He added that the film blends mystery, adventure and mythology into an engaging cinematic journey and encouraged audiences to experience it on the big screen.
Leading actress Nabha Natesh said the film combines history, mythology, action, suspense and emotional storytelling into a complete entertainer. She expressed happiness over the positive response received for the trailer and hoped audiences would extend the same support to the film.
Lead actor Virat Karna shared that portraying the character "Rudra" has been a life-changing experience. He said the film celebrates India's rich heritage, temple traditions and spiritual legacy while presenting them in an entertaining format for modern audiences.
The film features cinematography by Soundar Rajan S., music by Abhe, dialogues by Kalyan Chakravarthy, editing by Santhosh Kamireddy, production design by Ashok Kumar and action choreography by renowned Thai stunt master Kecha Khamphakdee.
Produced by Kishore Annapureddy and Nishita Nagireddy, Nagabandham will release worldwide on July 3 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.
