Prasanth Varma’s ‘Adhira’ Shoot in Full Swing – Kalyan Dasari Debuts, S. J. Suryah in Pivotal Role
The era of Adhira has officially begun! Visionary filmmaker Prasanth Varma, who redefined genres with his creative storytelling, is once again teaming up with RKD Studios for yet another massive cinematic spectacle. After introducing Tollywood’s first zombie film and creating India’s first original superhero saga HanuMan, the director is now taking his superhero universe a step further with his ambitious new project, Adhira.
The film marks the grand debut of Kalyan Dasari in the lead role, with versatile actor S. J. Suryah playing a significant character. Backed by producer Riwaz Ramesh Duggal under the banner of RKD Studios, Adhira is being directed by Sharan Koppisetty, promising a high-voltage addition to the ever-expanding Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU).
Blending the rich essence of Indian itihasas with cutting-edge cinematic storytelling, Adhira aims to create an immersive superhero universe where each story has its unique flavor while connecting to a larger narrative.
The makers recently unveiled S. J. Suryah’s striking character poster, which has already sparked huge buzz among fans. The poster depicts a fiery volcano erupting in the backdrop as Suryah emerges like a menacing demon with bull-like horns and a fierce tribal warrior look. Opposite him, Kalyan Dasari is seen clad in futuristic battle armor, rising with grit and determination – setting the stage for a monumental clash between good and evil.
Promising an epic face-off between hope and darkness, Adhira is touted to be an action-packed entertainer filled with breathtaking visuals, adrenaline-pumping stunts, and electrifying drama that will shake theatres like a thunderclap.
On the technical front, Shivendra Dasaradhi, who also worked on HanuMan, is cranking the camera, while Sri Charan Pakala composes the music and Sri Nagendra Tangala takes charge of production design. Venkat Kumar Jetty serves as the Executive Producer. The rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon.
With its promise of high-octane action and a powerful superhero narrative, Adhira is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films in the PVCU.
