S.J.Suryah set to make a Killer comeback!

After a long wait and hiatus, S.J. Suryah is making his directorial comeback through his ambitious dream project “Killer”, which had its shooting commenced with a ritual pooja ceremony.

S.J. Suryah, proving his unmatched caliber as an extraordinary actor, kept his fans on a prolonged wait to witness his directorial excellence. With the official confirmation arriving from S.J.Suryah himself, fans and cinematic enthusiasts are extremely elated.

The director-actor embarked on his directorial journey with Ajith Kumar’s “Vaali”, and stole the entire South Indian spotlights. His second outing “Kushi”, grabbed the attention of entire Indian industry. He was among the earliest to break linguistic barriers in Indian cinema, long before the term ‘Pan-India’ became a trend.

After a couple of blockbuster directorial projects, he made his debut as an actor through the film “New”, which enchanted the entire industry. He continued to exhibit his acting prowess in different scripts and diversified characters.

Now his announcement with “Killer” – an edge-seated action thriller has quenched the prolonged wait of fans.

He returns with the same fiery energy that marked his earlier works, promising an out-and-out commercial entertainer packed with love, drama, and high-octane action sequences. Preethi Asrani is playing another lead role.

Speaking about his comeback, S.J.Suryah shares,
“To reach my dream position of ‘MGR of India’ (only in the artistic world), right from my childhood, I have been highly ambitious, always dreaming of this goal and consistently fighting for and working towards it. Now, I have stepped into the arena with utmost sincerity like a debut director & a debut actor, seeking everyone’s love & blessings for this new project.
“Killer” is my dream project. I’ve been writing it for the past few years, and it’s a film that’s going to bring joy to people, just like “Kushi” did.

I feel proud to be collaborating with one of South India’s biggest production houses, Sree Gokulam Movies, headed by Gokulam Gopalan Sir, is producing this film jointly with Angel Studios to create a Pan-Indian grandeur.”

The film’s shooting commenced on June 27 with a ritual pooja ceremony.

The film is being made in five languages, with shooting planned to spread across various locations in India. Additionally, a few key sequences will be filmed in Mexico, adding to the film’s international scale.

Details regarding the cast, lead actors, and the technical crew will be officially announced in the near future.
