“Singapore Saloon” is a 2024 film written and directed by Gokul, produced by Ishari K Ganesh under the banner Vels Film International. The film stars RJ Balaji, Kishen Das, Lal, Sathyaraj and many others.

The coming-of-age revolves around Kathir(portrayed by RJ Balaji) impressed by Cha Cha techniques to styling, he is inspired to become a hairstylist. The film focusses on the hardships and chaos the protagonist faces to be become a hairstylist. Despite the hardships, the film highlights the importance of not losing hope and trying in order to succeed.

The film being a blend of comedy, passion and romance will entertain all kinds of family audiences. I would totally recomend everyone to watch it.

The music of the film has been scored by Vivek Mervin, cinematography has been accomplished by M. Sukumar and the editing was carried out by Selva RK.

RJ Balaji was decent, Sathyaraj’s acting was simple yet elegant, Lal as usual did justice to his character, Kishen Das did a really good job as he was assigned and not much to say about other characters.

Rating : 3.75/5.
