Tamil Movie Journalists’ Association Honours Maestro Ilaiyaraaja

Renowned composer Ilaiyaraaja, who recently mesmerized the world with his grand symphony performance, was honored by the Tamil Movie Journalists’ Association in a special tribute.

To mark this occasion, a special archanai (ritual) was conducted in his name at the Vadapalani Murugan Temple. The association members then presented Ilaiyaraaja with the temple prasadam and a beautifully crafted memento.

The delegation, led by association President Kavitha, Secretary Kodanki Abraham, Treasurer ‘Ottran’ Dorai and Vice President Bharat, met the Maestro and expressed their admiration. They also extended their heartfelt wishes, hoping he would soon be awarded the prestigious Bharat Ratna.

Upon hearing their wishes, Ilaiyaraaja responded with his signature warm smile, expressing his gratitude in his own humble way.
