Vikkals Vikram Turns Hero with ‘Light Weight Baby’; Title Unveiled in Chennai

Stand-up comedian and Bigg Boss fame digital star Vikkals Vikram is all set to make his debut as a lead actor with the upcoming film Light Weight Baby. The film’s title was officially unveiled at a grand event held in Chennai. Directed by K.C. Guru, the romantic comedy features fitness model Aarthi Krishna as the female lead. The film has cinematography by Pramod Kodiyan and music composed by Saravanan Subramaniam, while it is produced by Hitha Studios with Sagar Sandesh and G. Thimma Reddy as co-producers.

Speaking at the event, Vikkals Vikram reflected on his journey from being a theatre artist in 2016 to becoming a recognized face through social media content and later gaining massive popularity with Bigg Boss. He noted that the show transformed how audiences perceived him, turning him from just a content creator into someone who felt like a member of many families.

He also recalled how a reel based on the song “Nilavai Kondu Vaa” became a turning point in his career, going viral within minutes and eventually gaining widespread attention. The appreciation he received, including a personal call from composer Deva, made the moment even more special for him.

Opening up about his long-standing dream, Vikram shared that he had always aspired to become a hero but hesitated to express it openly. “Today, seeing that dream come true is truly overwhelming,” he said, thanking director K.C. Guru for the opportunity.

The film’s title, Light Weight Baby, hints at a unique romantic story centered around a stand-up comedian and a female bodybuilder, promising a fresh and entertaining narrative.

Director K.C. Guru described the film as one that explores the concept of balance in life, adding that the title reflects the core idea behind the story.

Debutante actress Aarthi Krishna expressed her excitement, stating that she is eager to prove herself and contribute her best to the film.

With its unconventional pairing and light-hearted theme, Light Weight Baby has already begun to generate curiosity among audiences.
