Varun proves his talent! Joshua : Imai Pol Kaka Review!!

Joshua directed by Gutham Menon features Varun, Krishna and Raahi. The cinemaography of the film was handled by S R Kathir and the Music was scored by Karthik. Joshua was produced by Ishari Ganesh under the banner of Vels Film International.

The story revolves around Joshua(played by Varun) who works as contract killer. Joshua meets Raahi. He falls in love with her and love blooms. When he proposes to her and breaks to her what he does for a living and says that he will boycott it soon, she refuses to accept his love and rejects him.

Years passed and Joshua quit his job and now works as a security guard to opulent people. Goons are behind Raahi, who works as a lawyer in America, to kill her. Joshua receives an agreement to save her. Joshua who agrees to save her, protects her. At last, does Raahi accet his love? Does he finishes the chapter of those thugs? is the rest of the story.

Varun having a good physique and muscular figure made him suit the best for such an action film and has done justice to his charcter. Gautham Menon movies are best known for the female lead’s cuteness, but, the absence of it in this film left the fans in diappointment. But he has balanced it with marking the protagonist, Varun in the hearts of many. The director could have focussed a litle bit more on revealing the antagonist. Cinematography was good and every stunt sequence made it worthwhile. Though Karthik’s music is all the same, he has scored the background well.
Gautham Menon could have made it more beautiful but he neglected it.
