Jai’s Horror Comedy ‘Thiyagaraja Talkies – Production No. 1’ Begins Shooting in Tenkasi

The shooting of actor Jai’s upcoming horror comedy, tentatively titled ‘Thiyagaraja Talkies – Production No. 1’, has commenced with a traditional pooja ceremony in Tenkasi. The film marks the maiden production venture of Thiyagaraja Talkies and features Jai in the lead role, with Delna Davis playing the female lead. The project is directed by debutant filmmaker Siva Prasanna and produced by A. M. Prabhakaran under the Thiyagaraja Talkies banner.

The film’s inaugural ceremony was held in Tenkasi, with District Collector Ranjit Singh, IAS, attending as the special guest and operating the camera to formally launch the shoot. In the presence of industrialist S. Saminatha Pandian, producer A. M. Prabhakaran sounded the clapboard to mark the commencement of filming.

Vijay Ulaganath is handling the cinematography, while Jayachandran is in charge of art direction and V. J. Sabu Joseph oversees the editing. Rangaraj Perumal serves as the production executive, while Ram Kumar is responsible for stunt choreography. Anandan handles still photography, and Abinandhini M is the costume designer. Ilango Ekambaram serves as the executive producer, K. S. Hemraj is the chief production executive, and S. A. Shanmugam is handling makeup.

According to the production team, filming began in Tenkasi and is scheduled to continue for 23 consecutive days from the start of the shoot. With Jai headlining a horror comedy under the banner’s first production and debutant Siva Prasanna taking the director’s chair, the project has generated interest among film audiences and industry circles.
