Murugadoss is the reason! Says Gautham Karthik

“August 16 1947” is an upcoming tamil film directed by NS Ponkumar and produced by AR Murugadoss and Om Prakash Bhatt. The film features Gautham Karthik, Pugazh and Revathy Sharma in the lead roles. This film is scheduled to be released on 7th April, 2023.

During the Audio Launch of the film August 16 1947, Gautham Karthik expressed his gratitude towards all the co-actors, technicians and other junior artistes.

Gautham Karthik adresses Sivakarthikeyan as his brother and further says that his prayers are always there for his upcoming successes. He mentions that AR Murugadoss is the reason for him to sign this project. He adds that he got a call from Murugadoss, asking him to trust him and accept this project. He also shows his appreciation towards the villagers in the village where the shooting of the film took place on how they were involved and how they provided shelter and so on. He compliments Editor Sudharshan who made this film a masterpiece without any unwanted lags. He spoke highly of the the choreographers, Dinesh master and Leela master. He commends the Musician Sean Roldan for his excellent work. He eulogized cinematographer Selvakumar. He honours his co-actor Pugazh and the amity between them, his sincerity in work and also says he prays for his upcoming successes.

Gautham Karthik finally ended his speech by calling all the technicians and junior artistes to the dias in a way of expressing his gratitude towards them.
