In the heart of Thrissur near Chimney Dam, Manju Warrier has started for “Footage”, an intriguing new film that marks the directorial debut of celebrated editor Saiju Sreedharan. The maiden shot, marking the commencement of the movie’s production, has marked the beginning for an exciting cinematic journey.
Saiju Sreedharan, known for his works in editing byFoo creating blockbuster hits like “Anchaam Pathira”, “Kumbalangi Nights”, and “Maheshinte Pratikaram”, has traded his editor’s chair for the director’s megaphone, adding a new facet to his already illustrious career in the film industry.
Warrier will be leading the cast, joined by Visakh Nair and Gayathri Ashok amongst others. The movie is being produced by Bineesh Chandran and Saiju Sreedharan themselves under the joint banners of Movie Bucket, Cast & Co, and Pale Blue Dot Pictures. Rahul Rajeev and Suraj Menon are onboard as co-producers.
The screenplay and dialogues for “Footage” are handled by Shabna Muhammad and Saiju Sreedharan. Cinematography is carried out by Shinoz and art direction is done by Appunni Sajan. The sound design is helmed by Nixon George, with VFX provided by Mindstin Studios, and costumes designed by Sameera Saneesh.
This cinematic endeavor also involves using found footage, marking a unique direction for the film. The project is designed by Sandeep Narayan, with Aswekeepsearching providing the songs and Sushin Shyam crafting the background score.
