Mudakkaruthan is a movie made on the backdrop of child trafficking. The movie has been star-cast by Dr.Veerabanu a debutante. Veerababu had rendered his service by saving many lives during the Corona Pandemic as a Siddha Doctor. Veerababu has himself.directed the movie and has also produced it.
Veerababu cultivates herbs in his village and takes care of many orphaned children. Veerababu along with his fiance Mahana males a sudden visit to his sister’s house in Chennai. There he comes to know that his sister’s child.is missing. Veerababu starts his mission to search for the missing child.
Veerababu comes to know that his kidnapped niece along with other kidnapped children have been taken to Andhra Pradesh to be used for child trafficking. The remaining part of thenstory is whether Veerababu was able to trace the kidnapped children or not.
Veerababu as a debutante director has made an attempt to make a movie on child-trafficing. Simply to say there have beenade many movies in the same genre and audience have watched as much movies of child-trafficing genre. Hence this review points out that there is nothing new in this movie. Veerababu as a debutante actor has tried on acting and fails to satisfy the audience with his acting. The only consolation about Veerababu is that he has put efforts in his stunt performance. Nothing specific today about heroine Mahana.
Super Subbarayan who has played the villain in the film has done justice to his work. Samuthirakani has made a cameo as a police officer in the movie. Mayilsamy, Chaams, Kadhal Sugumar, Vengal Rao and Ambani Shankar are others who have played characters in the movie.
Sirpy’s music does not recognise any appreciation. Arulselvan’s Cinematography and Akash’s editing have contributed a little to pacify the audience. Though many movies on child-trafficing have come earlier, this Mudakkarthan movie can be watched once.
