Mugen Rao’s ‘Milo’ Title and First Look Unveiled

The title and first-look poster of Milo, a film centred on a pet dog, have been unveiled, drawing attention from fans. Produced by K. I. Suresh under the banner of SSR Entertainment, the film stars Mugen Rao and is written and directed by Kavin Moorthy.

The poster features Mugen Rao standing in a dark blue leather jacket beside a golden-coloured dog, with a mountainous landscape in the background. Its tagline, “More Than a Pet, A Silent Witness,” hints at the mystery at the heart of the story.

Set against the backdrop of a crime committed 18 years ago, Milo follows the protagonist as he tries to uncover the truth behind the case with the help of a pet dog named Milo. The film is said to blend this mystery-driven premise with commercial elements for a wide audience.

The cast includes Teju Ashwini, Ilavarasu, Munishkanth, Bigg Boss fame Janany, Indraja—who drew attention with Engal Anna and returns to Tamil cinema after 20 years—and Suresh Menon and Aditya Kathir in key roles.

Filming has been completed across Chennai, Ooty, Kolli Hills, Munnar, Thiruvananthapuram and Malaysia. The technical crew includes composer Jen Martin, cinematographer Jiju Sunny, editor Venkat Rajan, and art directors Uma Shankar and Jayamurugan. Kavin Moorthy and Chandran have written the dialogues, with A. Raja serving as co-director. Mani Chandra and Viji have choreographed the dance sequences, while Phoenix Prabhu and Miracle Michael handled the stunt choreography.

Announcements regarding the film’s music launch and theatrical release date are expected soon.
