‘Raawadi’ Wraps Up Shooting; Post-Production in Full Swing

The shooting of Raawadi, produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar under the banner of Seven Screen Studio, has now been completed in full. Starring Basil Joseph and L. K. Akshay Kumar in the lead, the film is currently moving ahead briskly with its post-production work.

Being made as a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual, Raawadi has already begun to draw attention for its fresh casting combination and entertaining premise. The makers have officially announced that the entire shoot has been wrapped up after major schedules were completed across Chennai and Hogenakkal.

A significant portion of the film has been shot in and around the scenic landscapes of Hogenakkal, which is expected to add a distinct visual texture to the film. The makers believe the natural backdrop will play an important role in enhancing the film’s overall appeal on screen.

The film is directed by debutant Vignesh Vadivel, and features a supporting cast that includes John Vijay, Sathyan, Jaffer Sadiq, Nobel K. James, Arunachaleswaran PA, Shareeq Hasan and Aishwarya Sharma among others.

On the technical front, Leon Britto has handled the cinematography, while Jen Martin has composed the music. Editing is being taken care of by Bharath Vikraman, with P. S. Hariharan serving as the art director.

Positioned as a comedy entertainer, Raawadi has been produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar, with L. K. Vishnu Kumar working as the co-producer.

The team is now fully focused on post-production, with editing, background score, VFX and other finishing works progressing at a fast pace. If all goes as planned, the film is expected to hit screens during the summer season.

With updates from the film already generating curiosity among fans, Raawadi is shaping up to be a lively commercial entertainer aimed at offering a full-fledged theatrical experience.
