Filmmaker Dharani Rasendran, known for his critically noticed films Gnanaserukku and Yaathisai, has officially wrapped the final schedule of his upcoming film featuring Sasikumar and Samuthirakani in pivotal roles. The director shared that the project has now entered its intensive post-production phase.

Set against the backdrop of World War II, the film began production last year and demanded extensive planning and execution due to its scale and visual ambition. Dharani Rasendran revealed that every department, including cinematography, sound design, costumes, production design, stunt choreography, VFX, and actor training, required meticulous preparation to authentically recreate the world of the story.

The director stated that the team worked under tremendous pressure throughout the shoot, especially because the production could not afford reshoots. Every filming day reportedly involved detailed coordination to ensure the visuals matched the standards the team envisioned.

Dharani Rasendran also explained that his passion has always been to push beyond conventional storytelling and attempt cinematic experiences that are rarely explored in Tamil cinema. Despite financial limitations and logistical challenges, the filmmaker remained determined to create visuals that could stand alongside large-scale international productions.

The film is currently progressing through post-production work and is expected to be completed within the next four to five months. Further announcements regarding the project are likely to be revealed soon.
