I would punish them if I had been a victim! says actesss Ritika Singh

“InCar” is a new thriller-drama movie that has been scripted and directed by Harsha Warrdhan and star-cast by Ritika Singh in the lead role. The movie which has been originaly made in Hindi is been dubbed in other five regional languages namely, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. A press meet of the Tamil version of the movie took place in Chennai, where the director of the movie Harsha Warrdhan and the heroine of the movie Ritika Singh participated.

‘InCar’ initially started its shoot in 2018 and was completed in 2019. Since there had been some difficulties in obtaining the CBFC certification due to the reason that the movie was made on real incidents happened. Later Covid 19 pandemic started and the team was not able to complete its post production work. It is said that the movie has totally completed its work and has availed the CBFC certification with a ‘A’ Certificate.

Director while sharing his experience said that the movie was based on real incident where a girl was brutally molested in a car in Delhi. But to avoid publicising the victim, he avoided to mention her name and also said that they have changed the victim’s name in the movie. He said that the movie has been shot on the backdrop of Haryana which is adjacent to Delhi. He explained that the movie was shot using anamorphic lenses and anamorphic cameras. It is to be noted that most of the Hollywood movies are been shot using anamorphic cameras. He also added that the top of the car was opened to shoot few scenes to put the camera inside the car.

Ritika Singh while addressing the media was asked how would have she reacted if she had really faced such consequences as potrayed in the movie ‘InCar’. She replied that she would not wait for anything and would take law into her hands as a self defence and would punish them instantly.

The movie is starcst by Ritika Singh in the lead role. Along with her, Sandeep Goyat, Manish Jhanjholia and Gyan Prakash have place characters in the movie. Mithun Gangopadhyay has handled the cinematogaphy and Mathias Duplessy has scored music for the movie. ‘InCar’ has been directed by Harsha Warrdhan and produced by Sajid Quershi and Anjum Qureshi in the banner of Inbox Pictures. The Tamil version of the movie ‘InCar’ is been released by K.E.Gnanavelraja of Studio Green.
