The storyline of the movie “Captain Miller” happens during the period of 1930’s. Dhanush lives in a remote village of Tamil Nadu along with his mother Viji Chandrashekar and his siblings. Due to the domination of the upper caste families headed by Jayaprakash, lower caste people are been harassed where Dhanush and his family members do get affected. Sundeep Kishan who has played as a Military seppoy, Elango Kumaravel as a Dacoit, Jayaprakash as a Jamindar, Nivedita Sathish as a Dacoit and others have done justice to their work.

Writer and director Arun Matheswaran has scripted the movie in a way that could attract the audience who especially would love watching war films. Arun Matheswaran has strongly registered about the denial of lower caste people entering the temple sanctum. Arun Matheswaran could have concentrated on fine tuning the script which could have given extra crispiness and have avoided those few lags in the movie. G.V.Prakash’s Background Music is said to be the backbone of the movie. Siddhartha Nuni has captured the movie taking back the audience to feel the real 1930’s environment. Editor Nagooran’s hard work showcases the value of the content. Dhilip Subbarayan has choreographed the stunt sequences in a realistic manner which the audience would really enjoy.
